Frequently Asked Questions

Can I do a workshop today?

Perhaps... we usually take bookings for the next day but we may have a workhop running already which isn't advertised on our website. On some days we may be able to run a workshop at short notice. If you would like to come today, please phone us and have a chat on 01540 673 847.

What should I bring?

A sense of fun and the willingness to get messy. Clothes that you are happy to potentially get chocolatey. We supply aprons, but chocolate can get messy. It comes off easily in the wash. Chocolate likes cool temperatures, so our kitchen is kept between 12 and 16°C. Please wear something you'll be comfortable in at those temperatures.

What are my transport options for getting to and from the event?

Please walk, cycle or use public transport to get to use if you can. We are just next to the Newtonmore train station, although the trains are infrequent. Newtonmore also gets served by buses. If you really must drive, there is parking outside of the kitchen.

Is it suitable for children?

I have food allergies. Can I still take part?

Yes, but if you let us know in advance it would be helpful. If you are lactose intolerant then we MUST know in advance for the Truffle Workshop if you plan to eat your own truffles so we can buy the correct ingredients. Please email us or phone 01540 673 847.
